What To Expect From Your Physical Assessment
- Abdominal Assessment including real-time ultrasound muscle testing
- Diastasis Recti Measurement
- Scar Assessment - for caesarean scars, episiotomies and tears
- Pelvic Floor Examination - an internal vaginal examination with real time ultrasound
- Functional movement testing
- Assessment of posture, back and neck movements
Treatments We Offer
- Manual release of abdominal and pelvic floor muscles
- Joint mobilisation and soft tissue massage to relieve pain in joints and muscles
Appointment Details
- Recommended for all women following a Caesarean or vaginal birth
- Your 1 hour initial appointment is $180
- As determined by you Physiotherapist, any follow up appointments are 30 minutes and $90
- We recommend you wear something comfortable to move in, like exercise clothes
