No, referral is required to attend any physiotherapist. However, if you have a complicated problem, it will help the therapist to have any information, reports or letters from Doctors to help them decide on the best treatment

Hicaps is available so that you can use your private health card to settle your account on the spot.
Is treatment covered by Medicare?
Some chronic longstanding conditions have limited Medicare coverage. You will need to discuss this with your G.P. and ask them to fill out the relevant forms.
Is there discount for concession holders?
Yes, discounts are offered for pensioners. You can enquire about these when you make an appointment.
Can I get treatment from a Specialist physiotherapist?
Our staff have all been working in the women’s health /continence arena for many years. Some have completed specialist training & others are in the process of completing these studies. All can offer excellent treatment but you are welcome to request a specialist.
Can you treat mastitis/cracked nipples?
Yes we offer laser & ultrasound treatment & practical advice to assist with breast care.
Can you treat my painful pelvis during pregnancy?
Don’t let anyone tell you it’s part of pregnancy & put up with it. Early treatment can prevent pain carrying over after you have had the baby.
Can you help with pain during sex?
Yes we can whether it’s help from post natal pain, vaginismus or long standing sexual pain syndromes.
Can you advise what exercises to do after I have had my baby?
We can offer pelvic floor assessment, advice & general exercise advice.
Can you help get my tummy back in shape after having a baby?
After having a baby we offer assessment & appropriate core exercise programs.
